Well, according to Dutch brewery giants Grolsch, it’s their two stage ‘double brewing’ process that delivers their refreshingly distinctive and bold taste. Armed with this information, Wunderman Thompson appointed HunkyDory Films in London to produce their recent spot with Chuck’s very own – Olaf van Gerwen, on board as director.
The shoot galvanised our existing relationship with the UK production company and spawned the conception of our UK office – Chuck Studios London with them.The “As Told by Grolsch’ commercial was shot at our combined London studio and utilized the in-house motion control rig for the close-up precision and detail. The shoot itself covered both still and moving image deliverables and the campaign aired globally. The result has thankfully proven as distinctive and bold as the lager’s taste itself. Now, we’re not saying “we told you so” or that “two is better than one” but Grolsch believes it and who are we to argue?
