Join tonight’s charity dinner; Live-Eet (Live-Eat)

help out the Dutch Food banks and donate

Tonight at 18.00 hours every self-quarantining Dutch person can join an online, nationwide charity dinner for the benefit of the Dutch Food Banks. Because of shortages at the groceries and lots of volunteers who are in the high risk category, the Food Banks aren’t able to support families who need it the most. Together with Dept we developed an online benefit dinner called Live-Eet (Live-Eat), together with food brand Honig, to help out the Dutch Food Banks.

Right after we created the campaign #staysafeengeef for the Food Banks, Honig came knocking for new ideas for a donation campaign. Within a couple of hours we came up with the concept of an online dinner. Dept took on technical and creative production, created a website, arranged the artists and made a donation system. With combined forces Live-Eet came to life.

Now everybody can tune in, securely from their homes, to this online dinner at live-eet.nl. Dutch artist Thomas Berge, Claudia de Breij and Hadewych Minis are performing live from their living rooms to ask for donations and give some moral support to everyone who is self-quarantining. Through an app and QR-codes people can donate money to the Dutch Food Banks. They are trying to gather at least 10 million euro. With those proceeds the Food Banks can provide meals for almost 90.000 people, who rely on this kind of charity. Honig, Chuck Studios and Dept are looking forward to a successful event.
